Caroline's own health challenges led her to many
years of study and research relating to the direct connection between diet and
the strength of the internal bio-system - a connection, which the world of
modern medicine doesn't often consider as a major factor contributing to
She began her career as a professional singer and voice actor, but her fascination with food took center stage when she was first introduced to the age-old concept of lacto-fermentation in her early twenties. With a rigorous and demanding performance schedule, Caroline noticed that her health was taking a hit, so she began researching the many ways to ferment or "culture" a wide variety of foods including meats, vegetables, fruits, fish, dairy, water, juices, teas, nuts, seeds, grains, and legumes. Witnessing restorative health benefits, Caroline decided to make cultured foods and nutrition education a core element in her life and career.
Putting her entrepreneurial skills to work, Caroline founded Immunitrition, LLC in 2005 and began manufacturing cultured foods for national distribution. In 2008, she created the Certified Healing Foods Specialist (CHFS) Training, an intensive food education course designed to inspire individuals to play an active part in the Healing Arts industry by promoting health with the finest, most natural medicine available - FOOD! Putting her performance skills to work, Caroline began speaking about popular health topics at wellness conferences across the USA. This inspired her to become a nutrition educator.
Caroline received her certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) by the Nutritional Therapy Association , Inc. (NTA), where she currently serves as Vice President, an active Board of Directors member, and East Coast Lead Professor. Caroline also attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) where she is certified as a Holistic Health Counselor (HHC) recognized by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP), and she is also licensed by the New York State Department of Education as a Certified Health Coach. Caroline is a Master Certified Healing Foods Specialist, and she has a thriving New York based practice where she specializes in Preconception Preparation - helping couples to enhance fertility and conceive naturally through Nutritional Therapy.
Caroline is a contributing author in the popular health book, "101 Great Ways to Improve Your Health" and many of her articles have been published in popular newsletters such as the "Nutritional Therapist Newsletter", the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation's "Health and Healing Wisdom Journal", and the popular "Well Being Journal". For the past two years, Caroline has been working closely with Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, author and creator of the Gut and Psychology Syndrome Diet (GAPS Diet), organizing national GAPS Practitioner Trainings. Caroline recently produced and appeared in the official Cooking with GAPS DVD released in July of 2011. Caroline is in the beginning stages of co-authoring her first book, as well as a companion cookbook and DVD due to be published and released by New Harbinger Publications during the next year.

Jennifer holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, graduating summa cum laude.
Jennifer has been a long-term proponent of living a healthy lifestyle. After witnessing a series of health crises among friends and family members, she was inspired to explore natural methods of disease prevention and treatment.Jennifer's shift from "mainstream" methods of health and wellness to natural alternatives began in 2001, when her father passed away at the age of 55. Months later, she lost a grandmother to lung cancer and two of her close friends were diagnosed with cancer. In August of 2004, a short five months after his diagnosis, Jennifer's father-in-law lost his battle with a brain tumor. "I had had enough!"
Shortly thereafter, Jennifer was introduced to the Body Ecology Diet and Nourishing Traditions Diet by her good friend, Caroline Barringer. She began researching the connection between diet and immune function, the mind/body connection, and the benefits of exercise on overall health. In April of 2005, Jennifer became an AFAA certified Personal Trainer and founded Body Divine Fitness Concepts.
Jennifer's purpose in life is to inspire change. Determined to make a difference, she has devoted her time to educating others on the importance of taking ownership of their health and well-being. She believes the cultivation of knowledge is essential to achieving divine health. Her goal is to encourage a paradigm shift from diagnosis and treatment to disease prevention and healthy living. Jennifer believes that true health requires a holistic approach, where mind, body and spirit are all nurtured and strengthened.
Jennifer is currently on track to become an East Coast Lead Instructor for the Nutritional Therapy Association and she is the editor of Immunitrition's very own Health-e-Newsletter™ and moderator of the official CHFS Facebook Group along with our very own Master CHFS, Trina Gentry.
